Okay so again it has been a month or so since I have lost updeated my journal. I could say that I have been busy with the Navy and what not but honestly with the internet service and yes some fualt of mine of neglegence I do take some of the blame.
So a lot has accrued since the last time I have wrote, work has been the same we finished with all the inspection shit in which we as the ship and yes mostly the Engineering department we passed successfully. Other than all of that work has been the same and always will be. With the occasional under ways here and there everything is the same. This next month of March will be different because we will be in and out of port more times then in that we might as well stay out for that month... Thanks command... But this time I am not going to what may seem like complaining about work which is more like an outlet of the thing that bug me about the so called Navy. No this time this post is more on the personal side of things. The title says it, Being side swiped, Being shocked, and now it seems that I am of the path almost like a wrong turn. What occur ed was that I got a notice saying that my grandfather of 71 died Wednesday morning of a massive heart attack. Its hard to believe and still is that a person of his statue, and friendly and lovable character, A Grandfather who taught his family so much in his life and now he is longer with us but in another place of peace. So today instead of morning his life we are celebrating his life and the rememberance of him as a great teacher, a supportive friend, but most of all a great husband to my grandmother, a father of five and a great grandfather.
So I am back in my home state which unexpected to most and even to myself, it has been nice so far to catch up with my girlfriend, which spending time with here has been really nice. I got to surprise some of mine friends which was interesting and Yes I got to see my family which today will be even more interesting later with seeing all of them. But it will be a interesting time tonight.
